Join us at Sunday Special for an evening of poetry and storytelling in celebration of International Women’s Day with performance poetry trailblazers, Apples & Snakes.

Featuring powerful women across generations, alongside an open mic offering a chance for you to share your words with the community.

Open mic (15yrs+), all genders welcome to share.

On the line-up: Amerah Saleh, Jan Blake, Leah Thorn, Cherry Eckel and Belinda Zhawi.

About this Event

The Sunday Special is at the heart of who we (Love Supreme Projects) are. We come together to support ourselves, our families, our community and ultimately the world. All proceeds from this evening will go towards Apples & Snakes.

Every ticket sold goes directly to Apples & Snakes. Helping them continue over 40 years of championing fearless performance poetry and creating space for new voices to rise. Apples & Snakes will co-host the evening, with poetry and storytelling in celebration of International Women’s Day. This Sunday Special is all about showing up for each other – for young voices, for creativity, and for community.
