The Sound of Nature in Poetry

A Writing and Vocal Delivery Workshop with Livia Kojo Alour

Join international touring musician and poet Livia Kojo Alour for a dynamic and inspiring workshop exploring the intersection of nature, imagination, and creative expression.

In this two-part session, participants will be invited to envision how future public green spaces—gardens, forests, and beyond—might be reimagined and reshaped through community access and creativity.

Through creative writing exercises, Livia will help you channel feelings like climate anxiety into poetic responses, using a futuristic lens to reimagine landscapes of connection and ecological hope.

In the second half of the workshop, you’ll shift from page to voice. Livia will guide you through voice-opening techniques designed to help you strengthen your vocal presence—whether for poetic stage performance or personal practice.

This session welcomes poets, writers and vocalists of all levels. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, you’ll leave with fresh ideas, expanded expression, and tools to keep your creativity thriving.

Let your voice echo with the sound of nature—reimagined!
